As a weary traveler following the way of St James on foot, Domaine Du Gue Du Roi was a welcome retreat. The owner greeted us warmly with hot drinks and even dried our rain-soaked boots. The dining room was available for us to enjoy our own dinner, and the homemade breakfast with fresh preserves was a delicious start to the day. The location, surrounded by open fields and with a view of the Basilica, added to the charm of this special place.
Would recommend this hotel.

The rooms are cozy and well-equipped, ensuring a comfortable stay. The friendly and helpful staff go above and beyond to make your experience memorable. For the price we paid, we got great value with a beautiful and comfortable room. The location was quiet and peaceful, with easy access to main roads. The staff, especially Christie the owner, made us feel at home right away with her charm and excellent English-speaking skills.
The hotel breakfast menu could have had more variety.

Enjoyed the cozy lounge with fireplace and the garden, perfect for pretending to appreciate nature. The free parking was a bonus. because who wants to spend more money after this expensive stay?
Low ceiling upstairs, a great way to test if I can bend my neck in weird angles. Very entertaining indeed.
